Takeover De Meulemeester by Adri & Zoon

We proudly let you know that today, April 1, 2025, the beautiful family business De Meulemeester has been taken over by Adri & Zoon .
Just like with Adri & Zoon the roots of De Meulemeester are in the scale and shellfish industry. Where Adri & Zoon started 41 years ago as a mosseller supplier, the history of Meulemeester goes no less than 155 years ago, when they started in the Oesterkweek in 1870. Adri & Zoon then grew into a total supplier of fish, crustaceans and shellfish, while De Meulemeester specialized in lobsters, oysters and other shellfish in particular.
With the acquisition of this oldest company of the skeleton and shellfish industry in Yerseke, we get even closer to the source and we can optimally guarantee the quality of our products. That has been our mission for many years. In addition, with this acquisition we get extra expertise in -house and we can perform packaging our products under our own management.
In short: with this acquisition we can offer even more added value to our customers. That is something we look forward to with great pleasure and trust.

Today we celebrate! Lima Oyster has been around for exactly 1 year today! What a special year it has been. Since our launch we have not only been able to share the most beautiful French oysters, but also experienced great moments that make our first year unforgettable.
From intimate tastings to large events. We proudly presented our oysters to enthusiasts throughout Europe. And as if that wasn't enough, our name recently also briefly on one of the trucks from Adri & Zoon.
We also did not sit still in terms of presentation. With four different packages, we have always presented Lima in a unique way. From a festive December package to a fresh summer edition - every time a party to see and to open.
But above all we are proud that we have been able to make so many people happy in the past year. We want to thank you for all support. With a year full of highlights behind us, we look forward to the future!
An important step in the right direction
At a time when environmental consciousness and efficiency go hand in hand, Lamberet offers innovative cooling solutions in response to one of our largest environmental challenges. Adri & Zoon is fully engaged in innovative implementations for sustainable transport. We are proud to present the first fully electrical trailer from Lamberet in the Netherlands, with European type approval! What makes this trailer special is the energy efficiency and the zero emission that it brings.
The carrier e-koel in combination with Lamberet is equipped with a SAF axis that continuously generates electricity for the entire cooling system. A big advantage of this is that the battery does not have to be loaded and the cooling system remains operational at all times. This makes the trailer fully electric and energy neutral, without any emissions of harmful substances such as CO2.
During the development of this fully electric trailer, much attention was paid to energy efficiency. The specially developed roof and the thicker side walls, the automatic rolling door and the air curtain ensure a high insulation value, so that the temperature can be optimally retained. In addition, the renewed partition ensures increased cooling performance and a solar panel has been placed on the roof to keep the battery on voltage for the telematics.
To further guarantee the quality of the transport, the temperature is continuously monitored by means of telematics from Lynx. Through this system we check and monitor the temperature limits. This is essential to guarantee the freshness of our products.
In addition to ecological benefits, this cooling trailer also provides an annual fuel saving of more than € 4,000, making it very attractive both sustainable and financially.
The choice for this zero emission cooling trailer fits in perfectly with our vision on environmentally friendly transport. The future of fish distribution is electric, emission -free and energy -neutral, thanks to our innovative partnerships with Lamberet, Carrier and Elenbaas.
