A milestone in fish distribution
The very first electric Lamberet in the Netherlands! Cooling is what Lamberet is all about. And that just happens to be one of our biggest environmental challenges. The refrigerated trailer features an SAF generator on the axle, where the rotation of the axle generates electricity. This electricity is then used for electric cooling, eliminating the need for fuel.
Unlike other trailers, this version is equipped with an electric roller door. The door opens and closes faster, keeping the cold inside. The trailer also includes an air curtain and a two-piece bulkhead. Together, they ensure optimal performance. To better handle fluctuating temperatures, the trailer is better insulated, including a thicker roof and sidewalls.
The trailer has been provided by Lamberet and Elenbaas for practical testing at Adri & Zoon. So who knows, it might be at your dock soon!
