Sustainably farmed ASC and MSC fish
MSC fish
Most of Adri & Zoon 's products carry the MSC (Marine Stewardship Council) quality mark. This is only awarded to fish products obtained through sustainable fishing. This means that the habitat of the MSC fish is preserved, overfishing is avoided, and the seabed is not damaged. MSC fish are therefore sustainable fish that do not harm the habitat. Examples of MSC fish include herring, cod, and sustainable salmon.
ASC fish
In addition to MSC fish, some of our products also carry the ASC quality mark. ASC fish is sustainably farmed fish, which means that animal welfare is a high priority. ASC fish is carefully considered for water quality, habitat, and stress reduction. This means you're always guaranteed sustainable fish at Adri & Zoon .

As a sustainable fish wholesaler, Adri & Zoon a wide range of sustainable fish. This ensures you always have the top-quality, sustainably farmed fish product you are looking for. Our North Sea plaice, for example, is caught 100% untreated, with respect for nature. We achieve this using a unique Ecological innovation system. Furthermore, we offer many sustainable fish such as sustainable salmon, cod, sole, shrimp, mussels, and many other sustainable fish products.

In our range of sustainable fish, our sustainable salmon special. Salmon is the most purchased fish in the Netherlands. Therefore, Adri & ZoonAdri & ZoonAdri & Zoon Adri & ZoonAdri & ZoonAdri & ZoonAdri & Zoon Adri & ZoonAdri & Zoon takes all these aspects into account, making our salmon sustainable. This is also evidenced by the fact that our salmon carries the MSC label.

Adri & Zoon - responsible sustainable fish
At Adri & Zoon you'll find responsibly sourced, sustainable fish that you can confidently offer to your customers. Our sustainable fish is caught or farmed using environmentally friendly methods. Besides catching high-quality, sustainable fish, we also ensure that the packaging is produced using recycled materials. This ensures higher product quality and a longer shelf life. Our most important priorities are the environment, quality, reduced customer losses, and a reduction in bacterial spoilage.
SGS Certification
We have been SGS certified since September 2023. This means our packaging process has been tested. SGS has verified that we package all our products sustainably. This certification covers not only the packaging itself but also the sorting, filleting, and proportioning of our fish products.
